# Slack bot

> The Mobbin Slack bot (BETA) is included in all Team and Enterprise plans.

Search Mobbin for design references from within Slack.

## Connect your Slack workspace

1. Open [Settings → Team → Slack bot](https://mobbin.com/settings/team/slack-bot) on Mobbin. You
   need to be a team admin.
2. Click **Connect** and approve the permissions in Slack. Slack then opens a direct message with
   the bot.
3. Add the bot to a channel where you want to search for design references, or message it directly.

A Slack workspace can only be connected to a single Mobbin team. Connecting it to another Mobbin
team replaces the previous connection. If Mobbin shows **Reconnect**, use it to grant updated
permissions. To remove the bot, uninstall it under **Workspace settings → Manage apps** in Slack.

## Who can use the bot?

You need a seat in the connected Mobbin team on an active Team or Enterprise plan, and your Slack
account must be linked to your Mobbin account.

If the bot asks you to join the team or you don’t have a seat, contact one of the team admins shown
in its reply. If your team’s plan is inactive, ask an admin to check
[**Settings → Billing & Usage**](https://mobbin.com/settings/billing-and-usage) on Mobbin.

## Find references within Slack using Mobbin

* Mention `@Mobbin` in a channel or send it a direct message.
* The bot replies in a thread. Reply in the same thread to refine your search. In channels, mention
  `@Mobbin` each time you want a reply. In direct messages, no mention is needed.
* Describe the screens you need, for example “mobile banking onboarding screens” or “paywalls with
  quarterly pricing”. You can also mention the bot in an existing discussion to give it context.
* Say “flows” to find flows such as onboarding or checkout instead of individual screens.
* Say “iOS” or “web” to search for a particular platform. Use the **iOS** or **Web** buttons under
  **Load more results** to see more matches, or follow the search link to continue on Mobbin.

Sites are not supported yet.

## AI credits during beta

The Slack bot temporarily won’t consume AI credits during beta. This will change after the bot
leaves beta. See [AI credits](https://docs.mobbin.com/ai-credits.md#slack-bot-usage) for details.
